How you can help

The phosphate trade with Western Sahara continues because it is largely invisible. Here's how to change that.

01

Spread the word

Talking with the people around you and sharing what you know may sound small, but it is one of the most effective ways to raise awareness. This crisis is hiding in plain sight — the more people who know, the louder our collective voice becomes.

02

Write to your local MP

Your representatives may not be aware of this issue. The more they hear from concerned citizens, the more likely they are to raise it in Parliament.

03

If you're a shareholder of Ravensdown or Ballance

We encourage you to do independent research. Many shareholders are unaware that their co-operative is profiting from the phosphate trade in Western Sahara. The directors of these co-operatives have not completed proper due diligence, and as a result have misled shareholders.

Some farmers have already stopped using these products. If you're interested in alternatives, get in touch
